One of the two suspects in the disappearance of Jovelyn Galleno in Palawan showed the police where the alleged remains of the missing woman are located.
In a report by Radyo Bandera Philippines, the police said that the skull and bones discovered will undergo DNA testing to confirm if they belong to Jovelyn.
Aside from the bones, the police also discovered ID cards and other belongings at the scene. Jovelyn’s family members confirmed that those things belonged to the missing woman.

Jovelyn Galleno is a 22-year-old mall worker in Palawan. She was reported missing on Aug. 5, according to her sister. The employer of Jovelyn stated that she already logged out around 6:30 p.m. on that day.
An acquaintance of Jovelyn Galleno from the church allegedly saw the teen riding a Toyota Innova on Aug. 16. This was revealed by Radyo Bandera Philippines, as it was interviewing the kin of Jovelyn. According to the reporter, the said person executed an affidavit and said that he or she saw Jovelyn, aboard an Innova around 3 p.m. on the said date. The reporter also confirmed with the younger sister of Jovelyn if the affidavit reached them.
The siblings of Jovelyn Galleno, during an interview with Radyo Bandera Philippines answered rumors of their being silent on the case of their sister. The one who was interviewed explained that they were just processing their school enrollment. They also noted that the police were already on the case and that they deemed it prudent to let the authorities handle it.
