According to the netizen who shared the photos, the crowd was thin since a rally would require another permit from the LGU.

"The crowd is thin since it is only meant for the Tarlac Volunteers. Having a big rally would mean asking for permit from the LGU. #Aquino."

Here is another photo of the monument a day after the BBM-Sara rally.

It can be recalled that the monument of Ninoy was covered by a tent during the grand rally of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte in the said city.

Photos of the covered statue became viral on social media.

The mayor of Tarlac, Mayor Cristy Angeles, was asked of her opinion with regards the cover, and she said that "hayaan na ang mga bumabatikos."

She also added that it is time for healing and forgiveness.

Benigno Simeon "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., was a Filipino politician. He served as a senator of the Philippines, as well as a governor of Tarlac. His death in 1986 became a vital point of the EDSA Revolution.

Bituin Escalante took to Twitter and condemned the manner by which the monument of Ninoy Aquino was covered by the roof of the tent. The roof was placed so near the monument of Ninoy that one could not see what it looked like anymore. The tent was used by the BBM-Sara grand rally in Tarlac. "Ano na namang kahangalan ito?" asked the singer.

In an old report, the statue of the late Senator Ninoy Aquino has already been taken down from the corner of Quezon and Timog Ave. It could possibly be transferred to the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife. The transfer of the statue already had the blessings of the Aquino family.
