Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto was startled when the older brother of the little boy he was holding suddenly appeared from the rear to pick up the latter.

The cute and humorous scene was captured on video. The video clips were later uploaded by Mayor Vico himself on his IG Stories.

In the video, the Pasig City local chief executive appeared to be attending a gathering of people in what seemed to be a covered area of a barangay.

The mayor did not say the location of the gathering or what it was all about.

He did caption the first video to give his followers an idea of what happened.

Apparently, the little boy he was holding wanted to tag along as the Pasig City local chief executive makes his entrance.

“Sama daw siya. Watch until the next clip. Hinablot ng kuya niya hahaha,” Mayor Vico wrote as caption.

In the next video clip, one can see an older kid, presumably the “kuya” of the kid as Mayor Vico himself indicated in the caption, appear from behind to grab the little boy.

Mayor Vico was visibly surprised, as shown in the video, though he continued on his way, while the brother of the kid he was earlier holding, carried the little boy to another section of the area.

Vico Sotto is the current mayor of Pasig City. He has become famous for being a hard-working, innovative, and honest politician. The young politician is the son of former couple Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes. He filed a COC for the Pasig City mayoral race in the 2022 elections.

The Pasig local chief executive was the topic of discussion in a recent post by veteran showbiz columnist, Lolit Solis. She said that Mayor Vico may have gotten his wit and humor from his father, TV host and producer Vic Sotto. The veteran showbiz columnist also said that even the supporters of the mayor just laugh off all the malicious intrigues being thrown at him. Nay Lolit said that such intrigues may have been brought about by the good track record of Mayor Vico in politics. She also said that it would seem that it is his father who is sometimes affected by all the intrigues being thrown at his son.

Last month, Mayor Vico shared that he became positive with COVID-19. In his social media post, the Pasig local chief executive said he experienced a number of symptoms of the virus. Despite this, he asked everyone not to worry with his condition and also gave a reminder about the Omicron variant of the virus. He also asked everyone to strengthen their immune system and ensure their health is at its best.
