A video of a priest in Bohol has gone viral and has been shared and commented on thousands of times, with views reaching millions.
The video is not something that one sees everyday as it showed the priest continuously saying mass despite the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.
It was quite a sight inside the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Tagbilaran City where Fr. Vigilio Salas was celebrating mass.
Despite the winds and rain entering the church, and with things moving to and fro because of the wind, Fr. Salas didn't stop saying mass.

Typhoon Odette, with international name "Rai," was a super typhoon and it ravaged a lot of towns and cities in Visayas and Mindanao, Philippines.
Veteran columnist Lolit Solis revealed in a social media post that the food packs and assistance that Kris Aquino gave to victims of super typhoon Odette came from her own pocket. Nay Lolit also expressed belief that Kris may have opted to spend less on Christmas gifts so she could add more to the help she extended to the typhoon victims. The veteran columnist then gave her two cents on what everyone should do this Christmas season. She appealed for everyone to share what they can in order for them to make this country a “place of happiness” for all.
Pope Francis recently took to Twitter to pen about Typhoon Odette’s onslaught in the Philippines. The pontiff expressed his closeness to Filipinos struck by the said disaster. The top leader of the Catholic church also urged everyone to “pray together.” Some Filipino netizens then aired gratitude to the pope for his thoughtful message.
