Finally, Angel encouraged the public to also donate to help the people in need.
“Hi guys! For those who want to help and are looking for a trustworthy organization na maipapaabot talaga sa mga tao ang tulong
“After I saw this artcard online, I went to the Leni-Kiko Volunteer office to personally extend help for our kababayan’s who are affected by the typhoon #OdettePH. Of course, nag-observe muna ako. They converted their campaign area into a hard-working relief operation hub.
“The place have areas for receiving donations, repacking, storing goods, and communication center for those who needed rescuing, relief and also to find loved ones. Hindi dapat ako bababa ng sasakyan at iaabot lang ang check kasi nakita kong may mga media sa labas. Mabait sila, pero never naman nangyari na napakiusapan mo na wag kang kunan.
“Ang sabi, policy daw na sa loob dapat at hindi basta basta ang pagtanggap. So, sumunod ako. They don’t want to receive donations na hindi nakapangalan sa foundation so alam mong accounted kung san mapupunta ang donasyon mo.
“When I entered the building, I saw vp’s senate slate working. Madam VP left earlier to visit affected sites. Sinantabi muna ang kampanya para makatulong. We need more servant leaders like her. You may also donate to Philippine Red Cross. Subok na rin natin pagtulong sa ano mang sakuna. Praying for everyone’s safety,” Angel wrote on Instagram.
