Nadine Samonte gets emotional over struggles during her 3 pregnancies

In an emotional interview on the GMA talk show 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' actress Nadine Samonte shared the emotional journey she undertook during her three pregnancies. The actress, known for her roles on television and film, got emotional as she recounted the challenges she faced on the road to becoming a mother of three.

Nadine revealed that medical professionals had initially informed her that having children might not be possible for her. She recounted, "Sinabihan ako ng doktor na I can't have kids. Sinabihan ako noong 2013, 2014 hanggang 2015, I should consider surrogacy." Despite the discouraging news, Nadine held onto hope, determined to overcome the odds.

"When I heard those words, 'You can't have kids,' I was just 27 years old," Nadine shared with evident emotion. "That time, sabi ko, 'Pagdating ng anak ko, [kapag] nabigyan ako ni Lord ng mga anak, lahat gagawin ko para sa kanila kahit itigil ko yung trabaho ko. Gusto ko silang palakihin.'"

Nadine's pregnancies were marked by intense challenges. She recounted the daily regimen of injections, morning and night, along with the anxiety and anticipation of each day. "Every day nandun yung kaba. 'Is the baby still okay? May heartbeat pa ba?'" she expressed, shedding light on the emotional rollercoaster she experienced.

The actress went on to share the hurdles she faced with each pregnancy. Her first child, Heather, was born prematurely at 34 weeks. Her second child, Titus, was at risk of being born even earlier, but with determination and "God's grace," she managed to reach 34 weeks. However, it was her third pregnancy that brought the most difficulties. Nadine recounted a terrifying moment during the first trimester when she thought she might lose the baby. "Ang lakas ko lang talaga kay Lord. Naka-survive siya," she said with gratitude.

Even though her third child, Harmony, made it to 37 weeks, she faced complications upon birth. The newborn needed to be in an incubator and experienced difficulties breathing, along with unstable blood sugar levels. Nadine shared that they spent a week in the hospital navigating these challenges.

Fortunately, Nadine and her family were able to overcome all of those challenges.

Nadine Samonte is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. She and Richard Chua tied the knot on October 30, 2013. They already have three children, Heather, Titus and Harmony. Heather was born in August 2016. She gave birth to baby Titus in April 2019. Harmony was born in November 2021.

In an IG post, Nadine expressed how ecstatic she was when her favorite member of the Irish boy band followed her.
