“It’s Showtime” hosts emotionally concluded the program’s episode on Friday, the last day of its airing on TV5.
In the said episode, Vice Ganda delivered a heartfelt message expressing gratitude to the Kapatid network.
“Sa araw po na ito ay isang kabanata ng 'It's Showtime' ang nagwawakas. Alam niyo naman ang 'Showtime' ay parang isang mahabang kwento. Para siyang isang libro na araw-araw, tuwing umeere kami ay saka pa lang namin isinusulat ang laman ng libro na 'yan.”
“So oras po na ito, sa araw na ito ay isang kabanata ng libro na 'yon ang nagtatapos. 'Yung kabanata ng pagiging bahagi namin ng Kapatid network, TV5. Ito na po ang huling pagkakataon na mapapanood niyo kami sa TV5 kaya naman po gusto naming magpasalamat sa pamunuan ng TV5, sa inyong tahanan, sa pagbibigay po sa amin ng pagkakataon, ng oportunidad na makagamit po ng inyong bahay. Sa pagkupkop sa amin kahit hindi naman masyadong matagal, panandalian ay napakalaking tulong po nu'n sa amin.”

The comedian also thanked the Madlang Pipol for its continuous support for the show.
“Maraming maraming salamat, Madlang Pipol, dahil kahit saan man kami mapunta, anuman ang pangyayari sa Showtime, anuman ang kinahihinatnan ng Showtime, anuman ang pinagdadaanan at kinakaharap ng Showtime, ilang beses niyong pinatunayan sa amin na kayo ang bumubuhay sa amin sa ilang beses naming paghihingalo.”
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda’s co-hosts and the staff members could not help but cry as he thanked them for staying in the show despite its ups and downs.

"It’s Showtime" made headlines after it was announced that the variety show will soon be seen on GTV. ABS-CBN released a statement noting that the noontime show is set to air on the said free television channel by GMA starting July 1. GTV also shared the good news through its online pages. Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu and their co-hosts then reacted to the announcement. They expressed delight over their noontime program's new home.
Last Wednesday, GMA and ABS-CBN executives formalized their deal on airing "It's Showtime" on GTV. The noontime show's hosts were also present at the contract signing event. The said hosts include Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu and Ogie Alcasid, among others. A video showing the hosts being warmly welcomed at the event then made the rounds on social media.
