It's Showtime has stirred buzz on social media due to an important announcement about the noontime show.
In a statement released by ABS-CBN, it says the It's Showtime team declined the 4:30 p.m. time slot offered by TV5. The offer was made after the original "Eat Bulaga" hosts moved to TV5, where it will occupy the noontime slot starting July 1.
In the same statement, ABS-CBN also unveiled that the Kapamilya program is set to air on GMA's free television channel, GTV, starting July 1.
Meanwhile, Arnold Clavio took to his Instagram account to repost the said statement.

In the caption, the Kapuso newscaster penned a one-word reaction to It's Showtime's new home.
“Kapamuso!” Igan expressed.

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.
Starting July 1, It’s Showtime will start airing on GMA’s GTV channel from Monday to Saturday, at 12 noon. Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu and their co-hosts then reacted to the announcement. They expressed happiness over their noontime program's new home.
Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA Network Chairman and CEO, had a statement about "It's Showtime." The ABS-CBN show made headlines on Tuesday after it was announced that the program will soon air on GMA's GTV. During "For Today's Talk" segment of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Tito Boy shared Atty.
