Along with the emotional video, it could be noticed that Joey wrote a caption with a cryptic message.

"Wag ka nang umiyak, just pray and we're working on it," the 76-year-old comedian said without elaborating on it.

Born on October 14, 1946, Jose Maria Ramos de Leon Jr., known professionally as Joey de Leon, is an iconic actor, comedian, and television host in the Philippines. He is a member of the comedy trio Tito, Vic and Joey that has made several comedy movies and TV shows. Joey is also best known for being a pioneer host of the longest-running noontime show in the country, “Eat Bulaga.” It premiered on July 30, 1979.

Joey immediately took to social media after his, Vic and Tito Sotto’s announcement on Eat Bulaga’s YouTube channel. On Wednesday, the show’s three main hosts revealed that they will be parting ways with TAPE Inc. Following the big news, Joey cryptically said in a post that they are not signing off. The 76-year-old comedian underscored, “We are just taking a day off!”

It was published some moments after the noontime show's main hosts announced their departure from Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE). In the statement, the Kapuso network said it is "saddened by today's unexpected turn of events." It also mentioned the network's block time agreement with TAPE Inc.
