Some media outlets have dubbed ‘Deception’ as the movie comeback of Claudine, who was last seen appear in “Etiquette for Mistresses” six years ago.
Directed by Joel Lamangan, the movie has met some obstacles at the outset resulting in its delay.

However, as the trailer now proves, the movie did push through.

Claudine Margaret Castelo Barretto, better known as Claudine Barretto, is a Filipino film and television actress, product endorser and businesswoman. She was born on July 20, 1979 in Manila to Miguel and Estrella Barretto. Her two other famous sisters, who are also actresses, were Gretchen and Marjorie Barretto. Clau made her debut in showbiz with Ang TV, a youth-oriented show. Subsequently, the actress became part of the comedy sitcom Home Along Da Riles, which later on became her debut film whenthe sitcom was made into a movie in 1993. In 1997, Clau got her first TV drama lead role in Mula Sa Puso, cementing her prowess as an actress in Philippine showbiz and earning her the moniker “The Optimum Star”

She said that when she woke up, she saw the news that she was allegedly backing out of the elections. The actress said that the news was fake and that there is no truth to it, she has just been somewhat inactive lately because she is getting her house fixed.

The photo shows them posing for the camera with their mother Estrella Castelo Barretto or Mommy Inday, their other siblings, and their respective children.
