Xyriel Manabat lectures rude ‘elderly people’: “Nabastos po ako”

- Xyriel Manabat complained about some “elderly people” she recently encountered

- Those people were allegedly entitled and accused Xyriel of being selfish

- They supposedly made those accusations after Xyriel refused to grant them a favor

- The actress explained why she refused to do what those “elderly people” told her to do

Kapamilya star Xyriel Manabat took to social media to call out some elderly people she respects but allegedly turned out to be entitled.

According to Xyriel, the elderly people she was posting about put words in her mouth after not getting what they wanted.

”Let us all establish respect. Disappointing how elderly people who we respect is very entitled. How they can put words into our mouth just because they didn’t get it their way.”

In another Instagram story, Xyriel said that she would not refuse to grant a favor to someone if she is asked with respect.

The young actress denied being selfish, explaining that she only refuses to give a favor if the people approaching her are rude.

”Hinding hindi po ako hihindi pag nag ask po kayo ng favor as long as maayos po yung approach niyo at hindi nakakabastos po.

”Hindi po ako maramot o umaayaw o humihindi nang walang rason. Marahil nabastos po ako o walang galang ho ang pag approach ninyo.”

Xyriel Manabat, or Xyriel Anne Bustamante Manabat in real life was first recognized in the world of showbiz when she joined Star Circle Quest: Search for the Next Kiddie Idol in the year 2009 where she was awarded 3rd placer. The former child actress received acclamations for her performance in “100 Days to Heaven” and “Ikaw Ay Pag-Ibig.” She is also one of the cast of "Dirty Linen."

In a previous report by KAMI, Xyriel Manabat shared snaps from her photoshoot, the photos of which went viral. A basher took to the comments section and commented about the armpit of the actress. "May hair yung armpit hahaha," the basher said. Xyriel immediately responded to the basher and told her that it was because she was human.

Earlier, in one of Xyriel's social media posts where she said that she had actually accomplished one of the items on her 2021 bucket list, a number of netizens tagged Senyora. The latter then reacted, and even shared how her perception of the actress has changed, underscoring that she really loved Xyriel before in "100 Days to Heaven."
