Claudine Barretto wrote a lengthy post on IG where she made it clear that Vilma Santos, whom she professed to be her idol, did not ever advise her with regards her decisions.

To be strong, na lumaban sa buhay,magpakatatag.wala po syang inadvice kundi mahalin ko trabaho ko,mga anak at lalo mga fans/friends ko .sinalba nya ang buhay ko pero never syang naki alam sa mga decisions ko.basta’t nandyan lang sya pag kailangan ko ng karamay.gusto ko lang talaga malaman ng tao kung gaano kabuti ang idol ko."

Claudine Barretto is one of the three famous Barretto sisters, which include Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto. Clau rose to fame when she became a cast of the 90's TV show, "Ang TV." In 1993, she joined the cast of "Home Along Da Riles," which stars comedy king Dolphy Quizon. Other teleseryes that Claudine starred in include "Mula sa Puso," "Saan Ka Man Naroroon," "Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan," "Marina," and "Iisa Pa Lamang." She tied the knot with Raymart Santiago in the year 2006, though several years after, the two parted ways.

In a recent interview with Luis Manzano, Claudine shared the struggles she is going through for her kids, particularly her quest to regain the properties and the millions of pesos she allegedly owns. As per her narration, she said she was left with only P25,000 in the bank even though she saved a lot when she was still very active in showbiz. She also claimed her husband doesn't honor his alimony obligations and so she's fighting back to recover the money that she says truly belongs to her.

In a previous post, the actress shared the beautiful new tattoo that she got. She took to social media to show off the tattoo inked on her back. In the caption, the celebrity mom expressed gratitude to the tattoo artist. The veteran actress likewise said she loves her newest tattoo.
