Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of ‘Cristy Ferminute,’ had a frank commentary about Herlene Budol, also known as Hipon Girl.

In the said program, Cristy claimed that Herlene and her manager, Wilbert Tolentino, had a meeting with Willie Revillame regarding All TV, but she signed a contract with GMA the following day.

“Anong nangyari kay Hipon Girl? Anong nangyari? Nakipag-meeting kay Willie Revillame para sa All TV sa AMBS 2 tapos kinabukasan, pumirma sa GMA 7?” said Cristy.

“Ano 'to, nagpapataas ng presyo? Nagpapataas ng presyo na kunwari, 'Nanggaling po ako e, sa All TV, sa AMBS 2, ito po ang offer nila sa akin.' Parang ganu'n? Diba kasama niya 'yung manager niya na si Wilbert Tolentino?” Cristy continued.

The veteran showbiz columnist also aired, “Ano ang naiwan ngayon sa isip ng marami? 'Walang utang na loob itong si Hipon Girl.' Diba?”

"Oo, kasi doon pa naman siya nakilala, kay Kuya Wil," Romel Chika reacted.

“Oo, contestant siya dito, tapos binigyan ng pagkakataong maging co-host, tapos diyan siya nakilala. Ano 'to? Nakakaloka ha,” Cristy expressed.

“Sana man lang diniretso na niya si Willie na, 'Kuya, gustuhin ko man pero may commitment na ako sa GMA. Bibigyan daw ako du'n ng serye na ako ang bida.' Maiintindihan naman 'yon ni Willie diba? Pero 'yung kinabukasan, malalaman mo na lang, at sa social media pa, na pumirma ka pala,” she added.

Herlene Nicole Budol, also known as Hipon Girl, is a comedienne, actress, and a host in now-defunct Kapuso show "Wowowin". Hipon gained popularity when she joined Willie of Fortune. Willie Revillame decided then to make her a regular co-host of the show.

Herlene Budol is set to represent the Philippines in the Miss Planet International 2022 pageant in Kampala, Uganda on November 6 to November 20. The actress and Wilbert Tolentino, the national director of the newly established international pageant, announced the great news on social media.
