Herlene Budol and her manager, Wilbert Tolentino, recently announced on social media some great news about the actress’ pageant journey.

In a post, the talent manager revealed that with the approval of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated, the Kapuso star is set to compete in a newly established international pageant, Miss Planet International.
“I am now Official Miss Planet Philippines National Director for this Miss Planet International 2022, and I am appointing, no other than Binibining Pilipinas 1st Runner Up Herlene Hipon Budol to represent the Philippines in Kampala, Uganda on November 6 to November 20, 2022,” Wilbert proudly unveiled.

On her Facebook page, Herlene shared Wilbert’s post and admitted to getting emotional because of the said news.
“OMG!! Naiiyak at na eexcite ako! parang isang panaginip nga lang. dahil para sa akin isang malaking karangalan nakatungtong ako sa National pageant at ngayon naman isasabak na ako sa International Level.”
She then went on to thank her manager for all he has been doing for her career.
“Grabe at ang Solid ng Manager ko si Sir Wilbert Tolentino, Maraming Salamat sa tiwala at opportunidad na ibinibigay mo sa aking karera," she told Wilbert.
“Kung may tatlong buwan preparasyon ang Binibining Pilipinas journey ko at malaking transpormasyon para sa akin. Ngayon may tatlong buwan parin akong preparasyon para lumaban ako sa Miss Planet International.”
“Gagawin ko tong better version na makakapag inspire sa mga kabataan. because i know for myself that i am uniquely beautiful with a mission,” she added.
Herlene Nicole Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin”. She later became a host on the said program but had to leave it due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
Herlene is an absolute stunner during her 23rd birthday party. She donned a gorgeous Darna costume at the said party. The Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up also shared on social media a photo of her in the said costume. The actress further shared that it is her dream to wear the superheroine’s outfit on her birthday.
Herlene also released a new fun vlog giving glimpses of her lovely 23rd birthday party held last August 23. It features the party’s elegant setup, her loved ones’ birthday wishes for her and more.
