Cristy Fermin, in today’s episode of Cristy Ferminute, had an intriguing discussion about Gretchen and Claudine Barretto.

As per the veteran showbiz columnist’s discussion with her co-host Romel Chika, Gretchen used to provide money to Claudine monthly but the former has recently decided to stop giving assistance to her younger sister.
"Naku, eto na, nakakapanghinayang naman kung hindi na matutuloy ang 500k na buwanang sustento sana ni Gretchen Barretto kay Claudine," Romel said.
To which Nanay Cristy replied, “Alam mo matagal nang kwento 'yan e. Matagal nang kwento 'yan na itong si Claudine dapat ay bibigyan na lamang ng buwan-buwan na sustento ni Gretchen Barretto dahil wala ngang trabaho.”
“Pagkatagal-tagal na panahon nang walang trabaho at dinema-demanda pa si Raymart Santiago para ibigay 'yung kung magkanong hinihingi niya. E kaso, binasura ng korte, ang sabi ng husgado, kung ano ang kayang ibigay ni Raymart, 'yun lang ang pagkasyahin sa mga bata.”
“So syempre, dahil kakamping-kakampi niya ang Ate Gretchen niya dati, hindi pa ito 'yung nagkakabati na sila ni Marjorie ah, hindi ito, matagal na panahon na ito, natural naaawa si Gretchen sa kanyang younger sister. Na dapat ay bibigyan na lamang niya ng sustento pero itinigil ni Gretchen. Bakit kaya, Romel?”
Romel then responded, "May pinapagawa yata ang Ate Gretchen niya sa kanya pero hindi naman yata nagawa, parang gano'n.”
"O may nalaman si Gretchen na hindi kaiga-igayang ginagawa ni Claudine kaya nagbago isip niya?" Nanay Cristy then assumed.
