The actress addressed the matter during her appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Tuesday, October 13, following public discussion about the apparent confrontation at the “Bida sa Arena: The Rematch” celebrity basketball game.
The incident reportedly began after Anthony was left hurt following a collision with Gerald during the match. Anthony’s father was subsequently seen standing up, seemingly preparing to confront the Kapamilya actor, prompting speculation about what had happened between them.

“I think that really happens. Heated ang game, basketball, it's a physical game, it happens. Even I, did that, 'Hoy Gerald!' kasi lalo na Bisaya si Gerald tapos Bisaya din ako, so I do that as well and I think, as a father, that's really, really understandable.”
