Actress Agot Isidro has welcomed her new chapter as a senior citizen, saying that turning 60 has not stopped her from enjoying life, exploring new opportunities, and pursuing her career. In an interview with Kapuso Showbiz News, Agot explained that growing older is a natural part of life that everyone will eventually experience.
“Kasi darating tayo lahat doon, guys,” she said.
The actress shared that preparing for this stage of her life meant taking better care of herself. Her routine includes eating properly, exercising, practicing yoga, traveling to relieve stress, and taking breaks whenever she needs to protect her mental health.

“In-embrace ko siya talaga, 'yung pag-60. Pero 'yung pagka-embrace nu’n, meaning I took care of myself really well. 'Yung maayos ako kumain, nag-e-exercise ako. Kapag kailangan ko ng mental health break, mag-break ako. [Kung] kailangan ko mag-de-stress by traveling or whatever ginagawa ko, nagyoyoga ako. So mayroon din ganu’ng preparation towards a healthy senior life,” she explained.
Agot also emphasized that she has no intention of allowing her age to limit her experiences.
“Hindi ako natakot. Hindi ko ininda 'yung ‘Ah ang tanda ko na. Dapat wala, dapat living life at explore,” she said.
Another change she has embraced is becoming less concerned about other people's opinions. According to Agot, having supportive friends, continuing to work, and maintaining her energy have helped her appreciate where she is in life.
“Medyo wala na akong pakialam sa mga sinasabi ng tao,” she shared.
She added that she prefers to protect her peace rather than entertain negativity.
“Gusto ko kalma lang, peace. Kalmado lang ako. So dini-dedma ko sila. Pino-force field ko 'yung mga masasamang energy,” she said.
