In a candid Q&A session uploaded on Luis's YouTube channel titled "COUPLE QUESTIONS YOU MAY BE AFRAID TO ASK EACH OTHER," the couple picked a question that touched on their past uncertainties:
"Was there ever a moment you doubted our relationship?" Jessy asked. However, without skipping a beat, Jessy immediately took the lead to answer honestly. "Yes! Hello, ako na sasagot nun. Naghiwalay tayo ng isang buwan. Bago ikasal," Jessy shared.
Luis agreed with her recollection, acknowledging the immense stress and circumstances that piled before.

"Oo, ang dami kasing nangyayari. Pero mula nung kinasal tayo? Parang never naman," Luis remarked.
Jessy explained that the overwhelming environment of the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with the shutdown of their home network ABS-CBN, created anxiety and instability that eventually led to their quiet breakup.
"Once lang nangyari yun, nung pandemic. I guess kasi napakagulo ng mundo nun and nag-shut down pa 'yung ABS-CBN," Jessy explained. "I think our followers know this, na naghiwalay kami for a time na hindi alam ng mga tao," she added.
When Luis asked if the public ever caught wind of their brief separation, the couple noted that it mostly stayed under the radar.
"Hindi ba alam ng mga tao? Hanggang ngayon?" Luis asked to which Jessy replied: "Hindi. Pero alam na nila nung sinabi natin, pero hindi nila napansin, kahit sa mga news outlet."
Recalling what had happened, Luis shared there had been a couple of blind items about it back then:
"May mga konti, may mga blind item, kung 'di ako nagkakamali. Pero mula nung kinasal, much more nung nagkaron si Peanut, wala talaga."
