Months after announcing her separation from Jak in January 2025, Barbie remains single and says she is in no hurry to change that. During an interview on 24 Oras, the Kapuso star explained that she wants to dedicate her energy to self-love before considering another romantic commitment.
“Hindi ko pa iniisip or hindi ko pa hinihiling na magmahal uli ng iba kasi gusto ko munang ibuhos yung lahat ng pagmamahal ko sarili ko,” Barbie said.
She stressed that she has always taken relationships seriously and does not believe in dating without long-term intentions.

“I don’t casually date. Date to marry ang bakla. ‘Saving Cherry’ nga di ba!?” she shared.

“Date to marry po ako, so until I’m ready and I’m really, really sure of the person I’m gonna go out with, hindi ako makikipag-date,” she added.
