He added that the committee is prepared to address the needs of small businesses, which he said make up nearly all registered enterprises nationwide.

Aquino then introduced the committee's priorities.

“Ito po ang five-point agenda ng inyong Komite on Trade, Commerce and Entrepreneurship.”

He explained that these include assistance for small businesses, programs that promote an inclusive economy, support for the creative sector and industries that generate employment, and reforms intended to eliminate policies that make it more difficult for entrepreneurs to operate.

In the caption accompanying his post, Aquino stressed that economic growth begins with empowering small businesses. He also pointed to the continuing increase in the prices of basic commodities, saying this is why greater support for entrepreneurs is needed to protect livelihoods and ensure jobs for Filipino families.

The senator likewise assured business owners that the Senate intends to stand with them as they work to expand opportunities for their employees and communities.

Diaz later shared Aquino's post and commended the senator's message. He emphasized that while protecting workers is important, businesses and entrepreneurs also deserve support because they play a vital role in providing employment.

"Ikaw na, Sen. Bam Aquino! Maganda yan.

He further wrote:
