Shuvee was among the celebrity guests invited to Tobiano's intimate birthday gathering, where the unexpected encounter took place.
In an exclusive interview with Aubrey Carampel, the The Master Cutter actress shared what happened before she decided to give away half of her prize money.
So, mangiyak-ngiyak siya. 'Tapos, na-touch ako kasi hindi ako kilala as si Shuvee, kilala niya ako as Tonet. So, sobra 'kong kinilig and, at the same time, na-appreciate ko 'yung fans ng The Master Cutter."
According to Shuvee, being recognized through her character rather than her real name made the moment even more meaningful. Seeing the woman's emotional reaction also reminded her of the struggles many people silently go through every day.
The actress explained that her decision was driven by empathy, recalling the difficult times she personally experienced before achieving success in show business.
She also admitted that she did not know whether the woman truly needed the money but chose to follow what she felt was right at that moment.
Shuvee's heartfelt gesture has since resonated with many netizens, who commended the actress not only for her generosity but also for using her personal experiences as inspiration to extend kindness to others.
