Barbie Forteza opened up about her growing closeness with Sharon Cuneta as they work together on the upcoming series “Honor Thy Mother.”

In an interview with Aubrey Carampel aired on “24 Oras,” Barbie described Sharon as a kind and loving co-star who makes an effort to become close to the people around her.
The Kapuso actress admitted that working with someone she had admired since childhood could have felt overwhelming. However, Sharon’s warmth helped her become more comfortable.
“It would be overwhelming for someone like me na bata pa lang pinapanood na siya, pero she’s very generous in getting close to her co-actors,” Barbie said.

She then revealed the sweet way Sharon welcomed her into her circle.
“She even told me to call her Mama. Ganyan, sobrang bait, sobrang loving,” the actress added.
