During an interview with Karen Davila, the entrepreneur explained that he and Nadine naturally understand each other because they are moving toward the same goals and values.
"We are very similar in the way we think about what we want to change. I always say this thing like, I don't think that love is looking each other in the eyes. It's looking the same direction. We are looking in the same direction," Christophe relayed.
According to him, that shared perspective has made their relationship feel effortless over the years.

"We are aligned pretty much [in everything] and it just feels so good and natural to go through life."
Nadine echoed the same sentiment and stressed how important it is for couples to share similar dreams and aspirations.
"Mahirap lumaban with a person who doesn't have the same vision as you."
Despite being on the same page in many aspects of life, the couple admitted there is one topic where they currently see things differently.
"I would say that's something that we're not aligned with because siya kasi he wants kids. Ako right now, I don't know if I want kids. So we are very different in that," Nadine revealed.
Christophe said he fully understands why Nadine feels that way and emphasized that he respects her perspective.
"I know what she feels about it. She doesn't want all the changes and everything in her body," he said.
"It is just something also I don't want right now, anyway."
Although they have different views at present, Christophe said they are not closing the door on future possibilities.
"Maybe in a couple of years, like even if it has to be adoption... there's a lot of options later on," he said.
The conversation also turned to how they define love. Nadine described their relationship as one rooted in generosity and compassion, saying the people around them, animals, and even the environment are all part of the love they strive to share.
"Selfless, mapagbigay. Kasi sa lahat ng ginagawa namin ni Chris, hindi lang kami dalawa 'yung involved eh so we include rin 'yung mga hayop din, 'yung kapaligiran, 'yung ibang tao," Nadine highlighted.
She added that learning to love herself eventually inspired her to extend that love to others.
"Kasi before I've already learned love for myself and I think the next step to that kasi is showing love sa ibang tao, to everyone else."
Christophe expressed a similar view, saying their relationship has always been about making a positive impact beyond themselves.
"It's like us and the world, that kind of thing. We try to put intention in everything we do," he remarked.
