Rebuilding after an unexpected tragedy is never easy, and celebrity mom Say Alonzo is leaning on faith and family after facing a heartbreaking loss in her business venture.

Taking to her Instagram account under her handle @sayalonzo in a joint post with @aidaliciousarcadia, Say uploaded photos and clips showing the devastating aftermath of a fire that hit her restaurant, Chicken Inasal by Aida's Bacolod, located at Paseo Outlets, Greenfield City.

Expressing her sorrow, Say admitted how difficult it was to process the sudden destruction of something they worked so hard to build.

"It's really hard to accept what happened but we have no choice but to move on and plan what we will do next," Say shared. "It's like seeing your hard-earned money and dreams burned... I actually don’t know when I will be ready to see it," she confessed in her viral online post.

Say revealed that she stayed home with her children during the incident and could only watch the coverage through news reports, which left her in tears.

"I haven't been to the site. I was with the kids at home yesterday and I've only seen the videos from the news - each video made me cry and those videos are still making me cry," she wrote. "Ryan and I couldn’t sleep at all last night, even if we took melatonin, but I think it will take weeks or months before we get a good night's sleep again..."

She added that her husband, Ryan, has been her anchor during this tough period, reminding her to stay focused on her children while they navigate the next steps.

Despite the setback, Say emphasized that their main priority is getting back on their feet to support their restaurant personnel who depend on the business.

"Please pray for all of us at @aidaliciousarcadia so we can get back on our feet, especially for our team who really needs to work for their families..." Say expressed.

Ending her post on a hopeful note, Say thanked everyone who sent comforting messages and prayers.

Meanwhile, Say Alonzo made headlines in 2025 in a rare gathering, after the first-ever housemates of Pinoy Big Brother reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the popular reality show. They had held a get-together where they were joined by Sam Milby, who has since become a well-known actor. The first episode of Pinoy Big Brother aired in 2005, and the show continues to be enjoyed by viewers two decades later.
