Taking to her Instagram account under her handle @geecanlas, host and actress Gee Canlas shared a deeply personal and inspiring video reel detailing her transformative journey over the past year. Admitting that she almost didn't post it, Gee bared the quiet struggles she faced before finding her spark again.

"A year ago, I couldn't imagine my life looking like this," Gee wrote. "There was a point when I genuinely believed I had nothing left to give. I even remember saying out loud, 'If ganito na talaga then fine. I give up.' Thankfully, God wasn't done with me," she continued.
Gee revealed that her primary drive to keep going through dark moments came from watching her young son.
"Every time I wanted to stop trying, I'd look at @imcalebarcher. I knew he was watching," she shared. "More than anything, I wanted him to grow up seeing that his mom was a fighter—that even after life knocks you down, you can choose to rise anyway," she wrote.

She bared that her initial motivation to hit the gym wasn't even to get fit, but simply to find a healthy place to redirect her thoughts. Over time, the physical workouts slowly evolved into emotional healing for her as well.
Encouraged by her best friend Abby Asistio, Gee took a leap of faith and auditioned for the Century Tuna Superbods competition. Her video reel captured the joyful plot twist of her journey, showing her emotional transformation from crying in quiet moments to proudly walking the runway as an official finalist.
Closing her post, Gee invited her followers to join her on her "#MyMuchnessJourney" as "#SuperbodGee."
