The intense social media drama erupted shortly after the vlogger visited the controversial illegal dumpsite on an Aeta ancestral land in Subic, Zambales, which was the central subject of the highly acclaimed "I-Witness" episode titled "Ibinasurang Paraiso."
The tension reached a boiling point when the internet personality initially posted his personal observations from what he called "ground zero."
His initial narrative painted a completely different picture from the documentary, claiming he didn't smell any foul odor or see swarms of flies.

This immediately fired up netizens who quickly defended the meticulous, month-long investigative work of Kara, whose report was heavily backed by official government agencies like the DENR and the NCIP.
Realizing the massive heat his post generated, the vlogger took to Facebook to clear the air.
According to a report by Philstar, Boss Toyo apologized for the confusion his narrative caused.
"Gusto ko lang humingi ng pasensya sa aking naratibo sa pag-bisita ko sa dumpsite sa Subic. Parehas niyo ayaw ko din makita ang ating kabundukan na maging tapunan ng basura. Kaya nga po ako nag-punta dun agad dahil para makita ang kalagayan nila," he sincerely explained.
He continued by defending his initial intent, stating that he only relayed what he saw and what the local community leaders told him.
“Pero ayon sa mga kagawad sa baba ng dumpsite walang komunidad na lumikas o nawalan ng tirahan du’n," he claimed.
Acknowledging the fiery reactions from the public, he added, "Me amoy o wala, me komunidad o wala, me langaw o wala, pasensya po sa lahat. Gusto ko din lang mamulat tayo na sa atin din galing ang mga basura na 'yan, sa siyudad na wala ng mapaglagyan."
