Taking to her dedicated art page on Instagram under the handle @solennartportfolio, Solenn shared a look at her latest large-scale abstract landscape painting.
Set to the moving tune of Bruno Major's "Places We Won't Walk," the post features snapshots of the piece displayed in a gallery, alongside behind-the-scenes glimpses of her paints scattered on the studio floor.
In a vulnerable caption, Solenn bared that the sprawling green and floral canvas was born out of her love for her father, Louis Paul Heussaff.

"This painting was inspired by my father, who is living with severe dementia," Solenn wrote openly. "Watching someone you love slowly fade is a difficult and deeply emotional experience. Over time, I have seen him move through many moods and transformations. The father I once knew is slowly slipping away, yet in his place emerges a new version of him—someone calmer, someone I am learning to understand all over again."
The visual composition of the painting directly mirrors the heartbreaking reality of the progressive cognitive condition her father is facing.
"Hortensias were always my father’s favorite flower," Solenn bared. "In this piece, they appear abstracted and blurred, reflecting how memory and identity can soften and dissolve over time. The shifting forms echo the feeling that everything is moving—sometimes faster than we can grasp."
Despite the grief of a changing dynamic, Solenn's message remains a beautiful testament to unconditional love and acceptance.

"Even if he no longer recognizes me as his daughter, he is still here, still present in his own way. And I like to believe that somewhere, among a field of hortensias, I can still find him."
The raw honesty of Solenn's reflection deeply struck her followers and peers in the entertainment industry. Longtime friend and TV host Iya Villania turned highly emotional in the comments section, leaving a comforting message of solidarity.
"Sos 🥺💔 I don’t know what to say 💔 just praying for courage and peace for you and the whole family as you go thru this season together 🙏🏼 beautiful message of “finding the beauty in changes we did not choose” 💔 oh life 😫 love you, Sos! Big hugs! 💜" Iya penned.
