Facing health issues with a life partner is one of the toughest trials any marriage can go through, and singer Jessa Zaragoza is opening up about her family's current battle.

Taking to her Instagram account under the handle @jessazaragoza, she shared a touching but solemn carousel update detailing why she has been noticeably absent lately.

In one of the snaps she shared on the photo-sharing app, a quiet hospital room is shown where Dingdong can be seen resting on a medical bed with an IV drip setup nearby.

Jessa apologized to her fans and professional partners for having to postpone her commitments, baring that her mind has been entirely focused on her husband's recovery.

"I’ve been MIA dahil sa mga todo pasang kaganapan sa life 😭 Pasensya na sa mga na-postpone kong scheds. Di ako maka-focus talaga," Jessa shared honestly. "Since Father's Day, June 22, we’ve been going back and forth to the hospital, as Dingdong’s been facing health challenges," she revealed.

The OPM couple has always been a symbol of strength, but Jessa didn't sugarcoat how heavy the emotional load has been over the past weeks following Dingdong's health challenges.

In one photo, Jessa shared a close-up selfie leaning gently against Dingdong's head as he smiles softly. Another snap shows the singer standing in the hospital corridor next to their daughter, Jayda Avanzado.

"Between his surgery and being admitted again this past Friday. I’ve realized, di rin biro mag-alaga ng loved ones mo na may karamadan. I have to be on my toes all the time pag may kailangan siya," Jessa bared.

Despite the exhaustion, Jessa made sure to express huge gratitude to the friends and family members who have dropped off food deliveries and took the time to visit Dingdong. The singer also closed out her update by thanking the brilliant team of experts who are working around the clock to get to the bottom of his condition.

With Dingdong’s birthday just around the corner, Jessa bared that the singer has a very simple wish in mind.

"We're looking forward to celebrating Dingdong’s birthday out of the hospital. Yun na lang daw ang birthday wish niya. Thank you, Lord," she concluded.

Their only daughter, Jayda Avanzado, walked her mother down the aisle, where a tearful Dingdong was waiting at the altar.
