Ryzza Mae Dizon shared a hilarious reaction after finally seeing the animated character that many online users have long claimed looks just like her.

In a video released by Netflix Philippines, the television host and actress looked back at several memorable photos from different stages of her life and rated each one. Among the images shown were her viral 1×1 ID photo, a childhood picture in a Chinese-inspired costume, and a photo from her senior high school graduation.

The biggest surprise came when another image appeared on the screen. Believing it was one of her old photos, Dizon became visibly confused before realizing it was actually Toph Beifong, the beloved Earthbender from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

“Teka, ako ba ’to? Nag-ganitong costume ba ako before? Teka lang po Team Ryzza. Parang nalilito ako.”

Moments later, she recognized the character that fans have been tagging her in on social media for years.

“Okay guys, ito ’yung lagi akong tina-tag, mine-mention, si Toph ’to ng ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’,” sey niya.

After comparing the two, Dizon admitted she now understands why many netizens have been making the comparison for so long.

“Gets ko na kung bakit niyo sinasabing magkamukha kami dahil nga sa eyes, sa bangs,” aniya.

The resemblance between Dizon and Toph has been a recurring joke across social media platforms for years. The discussion gained fresh attention after Netflix announced that actress Miya Cech would portray Toph in the second season of the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Following the announcement, memes and humorous posts flooded social media, with many playfully congratulating Dizon as if she had landed the role herself.
