BINI member Mikha has earned praise from fans and animal welfare advocates after officially adopting a rescued puppy through the Pawssion Project Foundation.

The heartwarming adoption story was shared by the organization on June 22, revealing that Mikha welcomed the puppy into her family earlier this year after completing the foundation’s formal adoption process.
According to Pawssion Project Foundation, it was fellow BINI member Sheena who first reached out to express Mikha’s desire to adopt a rescued dog. Following the initial inquiry, Mikha underwent the required screening and interview procedures before being allowed to visit the shelter and meet the animals available for adoption.
During her visit, Mikha did not have a specific dog in mind. However, one particular puppy quickly caught her attention.

The singer met Muffin, one of the rescued puppies of a dog named Mama Napay. Their encounter immediately stood out, eventually leading to the puppy finding a permanent home with the BINI member.
Mikha officially brought the puppy home in February and later renamed him Po. The name now joins her growing family of dogs, including Shi Fu and Man. Fans also noticed that Po bears a resemblance to Shi Fu because of their similar black-and-white fur markings.
The story quickly gained attention online, with many supporters commending both Mikha and Sheena for encouraging pet adoption and helping shine a spotlight on rescued animals in need of loving homes.
In a message shared by the foundation, gratitude was expressed toward the singer for choosing adoption.
“Thank you so much Mikha for choosing to adopt. Thank you for giving Po a home and a family," Pawssion Project Foundation wrote.
Supporters also shared their appreciation in the comments section.

Alongside the announcement, Mikha shared a personal letter dedicated to Po and recalled the moment she first saw him.

"You were such a little baby when I first saw you, but when our eyes met, I knew you'd bring the brightest light into my life. You looked so sad yet playful towards your siblings and everyone around you,” Mikha recalled.
She also reflected on how much Po had grown since becoming part of the family.
“You grew up so fast, you're bigger than Shi Fu already. I'm grateful you're a part of this family and for being a great and a little annoying brother to Shi Fu, Haru, and Nezu. I promise to take care of you, spoil you, and give you all the love you deserve. Mommy love you so much!” she wrote.
The foundation also shared photos from Mikha’s first shelter visit, as well as touching moments showing her bonding with Po after the adoption. The images highlighted the puppy’s journey from rescue to finding a loving forever home, while also encouraging more people to consider adopting animals in need.
