On Thursday, Star Magic released an exclusive video showing JM Ibarra’s heartfelt promposal for Fyang Smith. The emotional moment took place aboard a yacht at the Manila Yacht Club, where the actor personally surprised the actress with flowers and a signage asking her to be his prom date.
In the video, JM expressed the deeper meaning behind his gesture, saying:
“Alam ko naman naiisip mo na hindi ko naman ito kailangang gawin pero for me hindi lang ito para sa prom date, at least makapahinga tayo sa sunod-sunod na araw na trabaho na magkasama tayo. At kahit paano maramdaman mo naman 'yung saya na naibibigay mo sa ibang tao at least ikaw naman 'yung makaramdam noon,” Ibarra said.

“Junior high school, senior high school, hindi ko ’yon pinuntahan. Hindi ko siya naranasan kasi ikaw pala ang magpaparanas sa akin,” Smith told Ibarra.
