The reassuring health update was initially brought to light during an entertainment report by Aubrey on the evening news program “24 Oras.”
Dennis shared that despite the severe visual impact of the crash, his son managed to escape any life-threatening complications, sustaining injuries that are well on the path to healing.
“Sa awa ng Diyos wala namang masyadong masamang nangyari sa kaniya except sa kaunting bruises at fracture sa kamay. Buti na lang ‘yung fracture niya sa kamay, hindi ‘yon ang ginagamit niya pang-fencing. ‘Yung kabilang kamay ‘yung na-injure,” Dennis stated.

The proud father further explained that the recovery timeline is moving swiftly, indicating that the medical interventions are nearly complete.
“Pero malapit na ring tanggalin ‘yung cast niya and OK naman,” he added, signaling a quick return to normalcy for the young athlete.

Calix was traveling completely alone at the crack of dawn when fatigue took over, causing him to momentarily doze off behind the wheel.
