In the interview, Empoy was directly asked why he refuses to shave it off, prompting a candid and humorous explanation that quickly caught the attention of viewers.

“Pagka nag-ahit ako ng bigote, mukha kasi akong tomboy talaga,” said Empoy.

He further recalled a previous experience when he had already shaved it off, saying it dramatically changed his appearance and even led to unexpected comparisons.

“Dati kasi nag-ahit na ako. Ang naging kamukha ko diyan, sina Doris Bigornia, si Eugene Domingo, si Direk Joyce Bernal. Puro mga ganito ‘yung buhok,” he added.

For Empoy, his mustache has become more than just facial hair—it has become part of his identity.

“Siguro dahil nasanay. Asset,” he said.

The moment turned lighthearted when co-host Buboy Villar jokingly responded,

“Asset ng PDEA?”

This fun remark made everyone laugh during the segment.

To further entertain their guest, host Chariz Solomon used an app to digitally remove Empoy’s mustache from a photo, revealing a drastically different look.

The experiment sparked more playful reactions from the studio. Buboy Villar even commented on Empoy’s altered appearance, saying:

“Actually may hawig kayo ni Blaster (Silonga), IV of Spades, na may pagka-unique,” while laughing.

Despite the teasing, both Chariz and Buboy expressed genuine admiration for Empoy’s facial features, emphasizing that he still looks good even without his signature mustache.

“Pero pogi naman si Empoy. Ang ganda ng ilong niya, ang liit,” Chariz said.

“Ako gusto ko kay Empoy, ‘yung mata naman niya. Maganda ‘yung mga mata ni Empoy,” Buboy added.
