“Kahit ako hanggang ngayon hindi ko iyon ma-imagine, awang-awa ako sa kanya hindi ko siya maiwan kaya, pupuntahan ko siya. Hindi ko alam kung paano niya ito hinaharap kasi ang bigat nito,” Vice shared, admitting that despite having faced numerous trials in his own lifetime, he lacked the personal background to offer specific advice regarding a canceled engagement.
Vice noted how painful it was for Ryan to see their globally broadcasted milestone unravel, remarking, “Tapos alam na ng lahat, in-announce na sa buong mundo na they are about to get married. Engaged na si Ryan, kumalat na ang mga litrato, tapos isang araw, oh pak, ‘bakit nawala ang mga litrato ko? Bat ako na-delete?'”
Ryan expressed his eternal appreciation for his mentor, revealing that Vice physically visited him every single day for an entire month, bringing comforting comfort food like local rice cakes to uplift his spirit.
