Former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Josh Ford has shared a major health update after successfully undergoing five surgical procedures aimed at addressing long-standing issues involving his nose and ear.

The 21-year-old actor announced the news through a Facebook post on June 6, expressing gratitude after the operations were completed without complications.
“Finally nangyari na 😊 septoplasty, uncinectomy, polypectomy, left turbinectomy, and left myringoplasty done,” he wrote.
Ford also reflected on the milestone and looked ahead to his recovery.

The procedures were performed to address several medical conditions affecting his breathing, sinus function, and hearing. A septoplasty is commonly done to correct a deviated septum, which can obstruct airflow through the nose and make breathing difficult.
Meanwhile, an uncinectomy removes a small structure inside the nasal passage to improve sinus drainage and airflow. A polypectomy is used to remove nasal polyps, which are noncancerous growths that may cause congestion and block the nasal passages.
Ford also underwent a left turbinectomy, a procedure that reduces or removes enlarged turbinates inside the nose. These structures help filter and humidify air but can become enlarged and severely restrict breathing.
The fifth procedure, a left myringoplasty, was particularly significant because it was connected to an injury he sustained years earlier. The surgery repairs a tear or hole in the eardrum and is often performed to restore hearing and prevent recurring infections.
The need for that operation traces back to one of the most difficult periods in Ford’s life.
In 2023, he survived a tragic car accident that claimed the lives of three individuals: Andrei Sison, Paolo Bueza, and Arman Velasco. While Ford survived the crash, he suffered multiple injuries, including a perforated eardrum that required long-term medical attention.
His recent surgeries mark a significant step in his ongoing recovery journey. Supporters quickly sent messages of encouragement following his announcement, expressing relief over the successful procedures and wishing him a speedy return to full health.
