Former talent show champion Golden Cañedo has officially reached a new milestone in her life after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

In a heartfelt social media post, Golden shared her graduation photos and reflected on the journey that led her away from the entertainment industry and into a new profession focused on healthcare.

She began her caption by acknowledging questions from the public about her absence from television appearances.

“Many people have been asking me why I am not on TV anymore,” she said.

Golden then explained that life often leads people to different directions, especially when personal growth requires difficult choices.

“Life leads us to different paths, and sometimes growth means choosing a new journey,” she added.

The former “The Clash” winner emphasized that while her experience in entertainment gave her unforgettable moments, she eventually chose to pursue dreams beyond the spotlight.

“Entertainment gave me unforgettable experiences and amazing people, but I also had dreams beyond the spotlight that I chose to pursue,” Golden said.

She proudly announced her graduation, describing it as a milestone that did not come easily.

“Today, I'm proud to share a new milestone— my graduation,” she wrote.

Golden also opened up about the struggles she faced while studying Nursing, balancing multiple responsibilities along the way.

“Beyond this diploma are sacrifices, sleepless nights, tears, and prayers. Nursing student by day, singer by night. There were tough days but I kept going and trusted God's plan,” she shared.

She extended her gratitude to her family for their constant support throughout her journey.

Golden concluded her message by saying:

Before becoming a Nursing graduate, Golden first rose to fame in 2018 as the inaugural winner of “The Clash.” She later shared glimpses of her academic journey, including her capping and pinning ceremony in 2022, and completed her senior high school in 2021.
