Singer Chito Miranda recently gave fans a glimpse of his long-standing friendship with actress-host Anne Curtis after sharing a candid video from Angel Locsin’s birthday celebration.

On Instagram, the Parokya ni Edgar frontman posted a clip of him and Curtis singing the band’s hit song “Halaga,” while exchanging jokes with friends during the gathering. The relaxed and cheerful moment quickly caught the attention of fans online.
Alongside the video, Miranda reflected on their friendship, which spans nearly two decades.
“Matagal ko nang kilala si Anne...siguro mga almost 20 years na din,” he wrote.

“Ever since, ‘Pare’ ‘yung tawag ko sa kanya kasi para siyang ‘one of the boys’ and ang gaan-gaan niya lang kasama.”
He also recalled how they used to spend more time together in their younger years, often hanging out at home or in bars until late at night. As their lives evolved, those moments became less frequent.
“Nung tumanda na kami, syempre ‘di na masyado,” Miranda shared.
“Once every few years nalang siguro kami magkita, ‘pag may mga special occasion... and ‘yung mga usapan namin tungkol na sa buhay may-asawa at pamilya.”
Despite the changes, Miranda emphasized that Curtis has remained grounded.
“Pero ang hindi nagbago is kung gaano siya kabait at kung gaano siya simple at down-to-earth,” he added.
The event also became a meaningful experience for Miranda’s wife, Neri Naig, who has long admired Curtis. According to the singer, meeting the actress exceeded expectations.
“Matagal ko nang naku-kwento kay Neri kung gaano siya kabait kasi super fan siya ni Anne,” he said.
Chito added that his wife described Curtis as “perfect” after finally spending time with her.
The gathering highlighted not only friendship but also genuine admiration among the group.
