Chito Miranda opened up about his long-time friendship with Anne Curtis and shared how their bond has lasted for nearly two decades.

The Parokya ni Edgar frontman posted a video on Instagram where he talked about his history with the actress. He said their connection goes way back.

“Matagal ko nang kilala si Anne... siguro mga almost 20 years na din,” Chito said.

He described Anne as someone very easy to get along with. According to him, he even calls her “pare” because of her personality.

“Ever since, ‘Pare’ yung tawag ko sa kanya kasi para syang ‘one of the boys’ and ang gaan-gaan nya lang kasama,” he added.

The musician also shared that they used to spend a lot of time together with a group of friends. They called it the “Tuesday Group.”

“Dati, madalas kami tumambay. May parang group kasi kami... yung Tuesday Group. Wala lang... magkikita-kita lang tapos tatambay lang sa bar or sa bahay ng friends namin hanggang madaling araw,” he recalled.

He added that their conversations have also changed over time.

Despite the changes, he emphasized that Anne has remained the same person he knew years ago.

“Pero ang hindi nagbago is kung gaano sya kabait at kung gaano sya sa-simple at down-to-earth,” he said.

Chito also shared a recent moment involving his wife, Neri. It was her first time spending time with Anne during a birthday celebration.

“1st time makatambay ni Neri si Anne last Sunday nung birthday ni Gel,” he said.

According to him, Neri has long admired Anne, but she was still amazed after finally meeting her.

“Matagal ko nang naku-kwento kay Neri kung gaano sya kabait kasi super fan sya ni Anne... pero na-amaze pa rin sya kung gaano ka-warm and ka-accommodating si Anne,” he added.

Chito even revealed his wife’s reaction after the meeting.

“Perfect nga daw si Anne, sabi ng asawa ko,” he shared.

He also mentioned a saying about meeting idols, but said their experience proved otherwise.

“Sabi ng iba, ‘never meet your heroes’, but I’m glad Neri met one of hers. Sobrang tuwang tuwa talaga sya,” he said.

The post included a short jam session video taken during the gathering. Chito ended his caption with a light remark about the clip.

“Anyway, eto yung jam namin last Sunday na kuha sa phone ni Neri. Sorry wasak na wasak na ko nyan,” he joked.
