The actor also shared how thankful he is to have Kylie as his co-star, describing their teamwork on set as smooth and light despite the pressure that comes with an action series.

Their dynamic, according to Miguel, naturally developed through collaboration and mutual understanding while filming scenes together. He also hinted that viewers may appreciate how different their connection feels compared to traditional love teams.

For Kylie, the uniqueness of their tandem lies in the fact that romance is not the center of their story. Instead, she believes audiences will enjoy seeing a partnership grounded in friendship, trust, and teamwork.

“I like it kasi buddy cop kami dito, good cop, bad cop. So, ‘yung team-up namin, mas interesting siya para sa akin kasi it's not romantic. It's a friendship and a partnership in a different way. I think it's interesting,” she said.

The actress added that this kind of pairing gives them more room to explore a different kind of chemistry onscreen, especially in a genre that focuses heavily on action and collaboration.

Their upcoming series “Taskforce Firewall” is already drawing attention online because of the unexpected tandem, with many viewers becoming curious about how the two Kapuso stars will deliver their unique “buddy cop” dynamic.

Kylie Padilla is a Filipino actress, model, and martial artist who rose to widespread fame as a GMA Network contract star, most notably portraying Sang'gre Amihan in the hit 2016 fantasy series Encantadia. The daughter of action star and Senator Robin Padilla, she has built a reputation as a prominent female action lead, performing her own choreographed stunts in recent high-profile primetime series like Sang'gre and the buddy-cop drama Taskforce Firewall.

In another report, Kylie Padilla posted a reflective message on Instagram tackling the harsh judgment and double standards that women often experience in society. In a reel uploaded on May 26, the actress featured herself alongside text emphasizing how women tend to be criticized regardless of their decisions involving motherhood, relationships, or physical appearance. The message pointed out that women are frequently shamed no matter which direction they choose in life.

Meanwhile, Kylie Padilla and her “Task Force Firewall” co-star Miguel Tanfelix recently completed a demanding high-altitude rappelling scene filmed from the 15th floor of the GMA Network headquarters. The intense sequence was performed by the lead stars themselves without the assistance of stunt doubles. Reports stated that the challenging training and filming process required four takes under difficult tropical weather conditions to properly execute the scene.
