Two of the biggest names in Philippine television are joining forces for the local acting community. In a recent Instagram post, Dingdong Dantes shared photos from a special gathering at Solaire North to warmly welcome Kapamilya star Coco Martin to AKTOR PH (League of Filipino Actors).

Dingdong took the opportunity to share the backstory of how this massive partnership came to be. He recalled a private meeting from last year that set everything into motion.
"Last year, nagkaroon kami ng isang importanteng usapan sa bahay ni Ma’am Charo, kaming tatlo ni Coco. Nauwi ang kwentuhan sa mga hangarin namin para sa industriya, para sa sektor ng mga artista, at para sa komunidad na patuloy naming sinusubukang palakasin," he said.
For Dingdong, finding a fellow artist who shares the same level of care and dedication for local actors made him realize that even the toughest industry goals are still achievable.

"Mas nararamdaman mong posible pala ang mga bagay na dati’t parang ang hirap abutin, basta may mga taong handang makiisa at tumulong sa atin," the actor added in his post.
The Kapuso Primetime King expressed his excitement that their past discussions are finally turning into a reality. He revealed that Coco will not just be a member, but will actively head a significant initiative very soon.
"Nakakatuwang isipin na ang usapang iyon ay magiging isang solid at konkretong proyekto very soon, na ilulunsad namin kasama si Coco, na siya rin mismo ang mamumuno nito sa ilalim ng AKTOR," Dingdong announced, exciting many of Coco's loyal and solid following.
Dingdong closed his post by giving a formal shoutout to his fellow star and extending his appreciation to the veteran media executive who helped bring them together which led to this grand specific moment.
"Welcome to Aktor, Coco Martin! At salamat po, Ma’am Charo," Dingdong wrote in his post.
The photos also showed other prominent figures present at the event, including Iza Calzado and Agot Isidro, leaving fans and members of the industry highly eager to see what this powerhouse group will launch next.
Dingdong Dantes is a prominent Filipino actor, television host, and producer, widely regarded as one of the most respected leading men in Philippine entertainment. He rose to fame after starring in hit GMA Network teleseryes such as Anna Karenina, Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga, and Marimar, where he played the iconic role of Sergio.
