Benedict Cua shares emotional reaction to Baby Aleck’s bullying experience

Benedict Cua candidly opened up about a painful parenting experience after witnessing his son, Baby Aleck, get bullied during a birthday party, according to a report by GMA Entertainment

In his latest vlog, the content creator recalled how he initially thought the children inside an inflatable bounce house were simply playing. However, he later realized another child appeared to be intentionally targeting Aleck.

“Magsusumbong ako sa inyo, guys. Pumunta ako ng birthday party. First time kong maka-witness firsthand ng bullying,” he said in the vlog.

The social media personality then described the moment that made him realize something was wrong.

“Nagri-ready siya tumayo tapos nag-aabang 'yung isang bata. Pagkatayo na pagkatayo ni Aleck, natumba si Aleck. Triny niya tumayo, tinadyakan siya. So natumba si Aleck,” Benedict explained. “So ako parang sabi ko, ‘Teka. Na-bully ba ’yung anak ko? Nangyayari ba ’to sa harap ko? Totoo ba ’tong nangyayari?’”

He said actress Rita Daniela advised him to confront the child involved. Benedict eventually approached the child and told him to stop.

The vlogger later asked their house help, Joy, to keep an eye on Aleck while he tried to calm himself down. However, another incident occurred shortly after, when Aleck allegedly tripped while using the slide.

Joy also became emotional after seeing Aleck get hurt multiple times during the party. She admitted she struggled to stay calm after witnessing the incidents herself.

Benedict then opened up about his fears as a parent, especially with Aleck eventually entering school. He worried about situations where his son might experience bullying without immediately telling his family about it.

“Ang sakit kaya nu’n sa heart,” the celebrity said while talking about the possibility of Aleck thinking such treatment was normal.

The content creator also revealed that he has video footage of the incident but chose not to upload it publicly out of respect for people connected to the child’s family.

Despite his frustration, Benedict said the experience taught him an important lesson about handling difficult situations properly. He encouraged people to calmly confront actions they believe are wrong instead of ignoring them.
