The post further stated:
“The informant says Dela Rosa left the Senate building between 3 am and 4 am together with Sen. Robinhood Padilla.”
Following the repost, Diaz expressed disappointment and frustration over the alleged incident, while also pointing out what he believes to be unfair treatment toward ordinary Filipinos.
“Kung totoo, sana naman, wag nang kumubra ng sahod ang pamilyang nagtatrabaho sa kanyang opisina,” Diaz wrote.
He continued:
“Unfair naman sa mga ordinaryong mamamayan na no work, no pay.”
The entertainment personality also criticized the idea of taxpayers allegedly continuing to shoulder government salaries despite such controversies.
“Tapos, magpapasuweld ang taumbayan ng ganyan,” he added.
Aside from reacting to the viral issue, Diaz also used the opportunity to remind Filipinos about the importance of making wise decisions during elections.
“Kaya kapag di pa tayo nagtanda sa 2028, sa kangkungan na lang tayo pupulutin,” he said.
He ended his message with a practical reminder for the public.
“Kaya matutong mag-save para di aasa na lang palagi sa ayuda ng gobyerno.”
The post quickly generated mixed reactions online, with many netizens debating both the alleged incident and Diaz’s blunt remarks regarding accountability, governance, and the role of voters in shaping the country’s future.
Roger “Ogie” Diaz Pandaan, born January 2, 1970, is a Filipino comedian, actor, entertainment reporter, and talent manager known for his role as “Pekto” in the long-running sitcom Palibhasa Lalake. After the tragic death of his father in 1986, he became the family breadwinner at just 17 years old and began working as an assistant to Cristy Fermin. He later built a respected career in showbiz journalism and talent management, handling major stars like Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is also in a long-term relationship with Georgette del Rosario, with whom he has five daughters.
In another report, talent manager and vlogger Ogie Diaz took to social media to poke fun at recent dramatic moments within the Philippine Senate. He humorously suggested that some officials might need an “intense acting workshop” to improve their on-screen presence, joking that they could still catch up with his teenage students in acting classes. His remarks quickly circulated online and sparked discussions among netizens about the authenticity of public “performances” during official government proceedings.
Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz also shared emotional Instagram Stories amid the controversy surrounding the recent incident at the Philippine Senate. He criticized individuals who, according to him, only turn to faith during difficult situations and also spoke out against greed and alleged abuse of power. His posts gained traction online and drew mixed reactions from netizens, with some supporting his views while others questioned his statements and tone amid the sensitive issue.
