In a recent Instagram post, the Miss International 2005 winner showed off her natural white hair, admitting that she is finally ready to let go of the pressure to look "perfect" in every aspect of her life.

In her post, Lara shared that her battle with white hair started much earlier than most people realize.

"The first time I saw a white hair on my head, I was 12 years old. Since my early thirties, I have been dyeing my hair almost every two weeks just to cover the whites we got from our papa."

The actress explained that her hair isn't just a sign of age but a family trait. Her father and siblings all share the same "head full of whites and greys." After years of trying to hide it, Lara admitted that she simply felt tired of the constant maintenance, saying she has done her best in keeping up with the routine since it started.

"Ilang taon ko tinago, tiniis, tinakpan... and I’m done. Pagod na ako. Ayoko na," she wrote.

Stepping away from the salon chair isn't easy for someone in the public eye, and Lara was candid about her own hesitations. She admitted that she still has moments where she wants to reach for the hair dye again.

"I’m finally letting go of 'perfection' and embracing my God-given white hair that comes not just with age, but with genetics too. So call me lola or grandma, it’s okay... I’m going to try and rock this white hair."

Lara ended her post by asking for support from her followers, hoping that by sharing her vulnerability, she could find the strength to stay true to her natural self. She even invited others to join her in embracing their own natural aging process.
