Sue Prado passed away on April 14 at the age of 44 due to cardiac arrest, her family confirmed in an official statement. The announcement was shared by her sister during the wake, marking the end of a respected actress’s life.

Her urn viewing is currently being held at the Diligence Chapel of Loyola Memorial Chapels & Crematorium in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. The family said it will continue until April 20 at 5 p.m., with plans to place her remains beside their father at Loyola Marikina on Tuesday following cremation.
According to her sister, Sue had initially been unreachable before she was later found after Neil Daza visited her. The family handled the situation quietly as they tried to understand what had happened.
She also said they were unaware of any existing medical condition.

"Hindi ko alam kasi ang mga kapatid ko ang nag-asikaso nu’n. Pero basta, natagpuan siya…" she said.
Her sister described how sudden everything was for them.
During the wake, the family also opened up about Sue’s personal wishes before her passing.
"Sa mga kuwentuhan naming magkakapatid, may mga bilin na siya. Na wala nang seremonyas. Wala nang eulogy," her sister shared.
She added that Sue preferred a very simple arrangement for her final moments.
"Kung puwedeng lata ng biscuit, lata ng ano, doon na lang. Mga ganu’n. Ayaw na nga niyang ipaalam, diretsong cremation, diretsong libing," she said.
Her sister also recalled fulfilling Sue’s specific request for a modest urn.
"Yung ganu’n na lang. Kay Neil na lang niya nabanggit na, ‘Gusto ko yung pinakamurang urn.’ Sinunod namin yung mura, yung disente. Hindi kasi puwedeng ano, di ba?" she added.
The family continues to honor her wishes while remembering her life, personality, and the quiet way she wanted her final goodbye to be handled.
