Angel Locsin remains one of the Philippines’ most respected screen icons, widely recognized for leading hit television dramas such as Darna, Mulawin, and The General's Daughter. Beyond acting, she has earned global praise for humanitarian work and was previously named a Hero of Philanthropy by Forbes due to her rapid disaster-response initiatives. In recent years, she has largely stepped away from show business to prioritize private life and long-standing charitable causes.
As previously reported by KAMI, Angel Locsin expressed shock over netizens labeling her stepson, Joaquin Arce, as a "nepo baby." She defended Joaquin's hard work, noting that he chose to audition for PBB rather than asking her for a project. The actress revealed she has cast 12,000 votes for Joaquin throughout his journey. Angel took a swipe at critics.
Meanwhile, Angel Locsin briefly returned to social media to greet PBB housemate Lella Ford on her birthday. Lella secured a spot in the Big 8 after outperforming Joaquin Arce in a task. Fans expressed joy over Angel’s renewed online presence and support for the housemates. The actress previously shared pride in Joaquin’s growth inside the PBB house.
