Having spent decades in show business, Angelica has built a strong and respected career, starting as a child star and growing into one of the most versatile actresses of her generation. With this experience, she said she has encountered a few young artists whose attitude left a certain impression on her.

“Hindi mo naman kailangang mag-beso eh, di ba?” she said.

Angelica explained that grand gestures are not necessary when showing respect. She stressed that even the simplest acknowledgment can already mean a lot.

The actress clarified that her observation does not apply to everyone. She noted that many newcomers remain polite and professional, but there have been instances that stood out to her.

“Parang nayayabangan lang talaga ako dun…” she admitted.

Angelica was referring to moments when some younger artists appear too self-assured in a way that can come across differently to seniors.

Angelica also reflected on how things were during her early years in the industry. According to her, it was more common for younger talents to take the initiative in greeting veteran artists, a practice she feels is sometimes overlooked today.

“Ano ba naman yung mag-Hi ka?” Angelica added.

She emphasized that respect does not have to be complicated or formal.

Despite her remarks, Angelica’s statements come from a place of experience rather than criticism. As someone who has witnessed the industry evolve over time, she hopes to remind younger artists of the value of humility and basic courtesy.
