A teaser released by GMA Network previewed a candid conversation between the two actresses, including a reflection on a difficult chapter in their friendship.
Heart shared that their tension in the past stemmed from her strong disapproval of two of Angelica’s former partners.
“’Yung pinaka-hate ko na jowa mo, dalawa. Una, si [redacted], hate ko siya dahil, tina-try talaga kitang balikan,” says Heart.

She continued by recalling how the situation affected her emotionally when she felt unwelcome during a visit.
“Tapos, nung ininvite mo ako sa bahay mo, sinabi niya, ‘Bakit mo ininvite?’” adds Heart. “Heartbroken ako no’n,” she explains.
The fashion icon also described how she found herself in a complicated position as both a close friend and an outsider in the relationship.
“First kong hate, siyempre si ano, [redacted],” says Heart. She elaborated on her discomfort during the encounter.
“My God, hate ko talaga ‘yun kasi, ‘yun talaga, from a distance, naging kaibigan ko ‘yung someone, tapos kaibigan kita,” she recalls.
According to Heart, the situation eventually led to an unexpected distance between them.
“Ang ending, that was the last time I saw Angelica,” says Heart.
She explained that the tension was noticeable even before they parted ways.
“Naramdaman na ng isa na, ‘Magsasalita ‘to,’” she adds.
Heart also admitted that their lifestyles at the time contributed to the disconnect.
“Eh, nung time na ‘yun, single pa ako,” says Heart. She noted that she was more socially active while her friend was not.
“So, hate na hate ko siya,” she continues.
Heart and Angelica first worked together in a teen-oriented show in 2002, marking the beginning of their long-standing friendship that has endured ups and downs.
