Global Fashion Icon Heart Evangelista recently took a nostalgic trip down memory lane after sharing her elementary school yearbook profile from Colegio de San Agustin.

During an interview with Sparkle for the segment “I’m Ready for My Close Up Pic-Talk,” the Kapuso star read aloud the message she wrote in her yearbook when she was still a student.

The entry revealed how her childhood dreams and interests closely resemble the life she has today.

“I’m very understanding and down-to-earth. I love animals, and I’m fond of painting and acting. I hope to become an actress someday. I believe that time is gold because every second counts. We should do worthwhile activities every second of the day.”

Looking back, Heart expressed amazement that many of the things she wrote about as a child eventually came true.

“I love this in particular because lahat ng sinulat ko diyan basically came true,” she said.

She also reflected on how some of her beliefs and passions have remained the same over the years.

“I still believe that time is gold. I love animals. I wanted to be a vet, and I said I was the president of the drama club and art club, and I wanted to become an actress one day,” she added.

Today, Evangelista has built a successful career not only as an actress but also as an international fashion figure and artist. Her work in fashion and entertainment has brought her to global events, including Paris Fashion Week.

Meanwhile, fans can soon watch more of her personal and professional journey as she returns with the second season of her reality series Heart World. The show is set to premiere on GMA Network this Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
