Pinoy Big Brother is a Philippine reality television show based on the global Big Brother franchise. It first aired in 2005 on ABS-CBN. In the show, selected contestants called “housemates” live together inside a specially built house, cut off from the outside world and constantly monitored by cameras and microphones. They complete weekly tasks, nominate fellow housemates for eviction, and face public voting, where viewers decide who stays and who leaves. The program is known for its famous confession room and the voice of “Kuya” (Big Brother), who gives instructions and challenges to the housemates. Over the years, Pinoy Big Brother has launched the careers of many celebrities and has produced different editions.
As previously reported by KAMI, Caprice Cayetano took to Instagram Stories to share a heartfelt message following her win in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0. The young actress expressed disbelief over what happened during the Big Night and said she was overwhelmed by the support she has been receiving. She thanked everyone who stood by her throughout her journey and acknowledged how much their encouragement meant to her and her family. Caprice also encouraged Filipino youth to stay positive.
Meanwhile, Mavy Legaspi addressed a major microphone delay during the live Big Night of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0." The host said the echo inside the venue made it difficult for them to speak properly. He apologized to viewers if he sounded slow during the online livestream on YouTube and Facebook. Mavy thanked the “PBB Online-Verse” for their patience and support despite the technical glitch.
