Andi Eigenmann is not having it with scammers trying to use her identity for a quick payday. In a series of Instagram stories, the actress and celebrity mom exposed a person posing as her on Telegram, using a fake donation drive to solicit money from unsuspecting victims.

"Warning! Someone is posing as me on Telegram and attempting to solicit money in the guise of a donation drive!" Andi alerted her followers. "Please be advised that I will never in my life ask anyone for money," she added.

Aside from the warning, Andi didn't miss the chance to criticize the scammer's clumsy attempts to impersonate her. She pointed out that the poser's messaging style was way off and didn't match her actual voice online.

"Please do not engage! Please do not assume I talk that way through messaging either," she noted with a laugh. "Please fix your grammar if you want to pose as me!" she even said.

Andi was even particularly "baffled" by the scammer's word choices, such as using "agad" and "immediately" in the same sentence.

"Again, if this poser messaged you as well, please do not engage. To be absolutely clear: I will never privately request money from anyone!" she emphasized once more. In a final witty jab, the Harry Potter fan added, "It takes a Slytherin to impersonate a Slytherin."

Andi Eigenmann is a Filipina actress, model, and social media personality. She is known for her roles in Philippine television dramas and films. She comes from a well-known showbiz family—her mother is veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, and her father was seasoned actor Mark Gil. Meanwhile, Matteo Guidicelli joined the viral “2016” trend on Instagram, where he looked back on his activities and milestones from that year. Andi Eigenmann reacted to the post and called Matteo her “2016 showbiz friend.” She expressed how proud she was of his achievements in life and in love.
